The ALLAY Collection, designed by Daniel Schofield, embodies comfort through precision, restraint and the expressive qualities of solid wood. For LDW26, the presentation shows the creative process of MOR pieces by Daniel Schofield: the ALLAY Lounge Chair and the MIGO Side Table, extending its calm design language into paring pieces. From the first sketches to the final product, we will present in MOR showroom the full creative journey of this collection.

At its core is the ALLAY Lounge Chair, defined by a refined minimalist form and balanced geometry. Crafted in Portugal, it highlights the organic character of wood through softened transitions, precise junctions, and an ergonomic posture that supports the body with ease. Its grounded presence and tactile surfaces convey a quiet, confident identity.
The MIGO Side Table continues this approach, with the same clarity of proportion and disciplined detailing. Its sculpted form and stable profile allow it to adapt seamlessly across residential, hospitality, and workplace contexts. Visitors will also discover the latest evolution of its movable tabletop system, designed to offer intuitive flexibility and respond to everyday use.

Together, the two pieces form a coherent study of form, scale and material. Each reflects Daniel Schofield’s intention to create objects that feel familiar, purposeful and long-lasting. The collection demonstrates how solid wood, when handled with care and restraint, can provide comfort not only through ergonomics but through atmosphere.
The ALLAY Collection is produced entirely in Portugal with selected partners, reinforcing MOR’s commitment to craftsmanship, longevity and thoughtful design.

Nestled in the heart of Alcântara, a residential yet lively neighborhood, the new MOR showroom invites passersby to engage with design in their everyday lives. More than just a space for exhibitions, the showroom is a cultural hub where aesthetics meet functionality, seamlessly integrating into the urban fabric of the area. Housed in a former garage that later became a carpentry workshop before transforming into a design studio, the showroom carries with it layers of history. Long-time residents often share nostalgic anecdotes about its past, adding a unique character to the space. Now, MOR is proud to give this historic site a new chapter, presenting a beautifully curated selection of contemporary design pieces.

Alongside some of the most renowned art and design centers and museums in Portugal, the MOR showroom stands as a reference point for sophisticated design. Visitors can explore a carefully assembled collection that reflects innovation, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. Designed as a multi-functional space, the showroom serves as a venue for professional meetings, creative gatherings, and inspiring events. It fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and dialogue, becoming a dynamic center for design enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
