LDW Highlights
This year, Bryon Studios will showcase the studio in action. An invitation into the creative process and textile world of Chloe Skinner in a collection titled Samples.
It wouldn’t be a visit to Bryon Studios without featuring work from friends of the studio and this year they will be exhibiting the glass works of Catarina Pacheco and invite Melanie Abrantes to teach a wood carving workshop where participants will be expertly guided to make a spoon.
A visionary creative space founded by designer Chloe Skinner, dedicated to sourcing meaningful home decor inspired by memories, imagination and experiences. The studio specializes in story-filled printed textiles, hand-screen printed in Lisbon on carefully sourced linens, cottons and silks. With its light-filled atmosphere, Bryon Studios hosts exhibitions, workshops and events serving as an inspirational hub for projects and collaborations that nurture creativity in both adults and children.
Chloe creates sentimental textiles that transform moments of deep connection and personal inspiration into printed patterns with universal meaning. Her process is one of artistic discovery where pencil drawings lead her down unexpected paths, revealing stories, shapes, and colours. While grounded in traditional foundations - a stripe, a polka dot, or a plaid - her designs break convention by weaving in unexpected treasures and deep meaning. These aren’t just patterns on fabric - they’re future heirlooms designed to gather meaning as they become part of new households.
