3TWINS

Urban Intervention
3TWINS is a duo of twin brothers, Yuri and Anatoli Zelensky, whose practice began with graffiti and evolved through architectural education into large scale abstract interventions in urban space. Drawing from industrial architecture and infrastructural forms, their work translates the logic of the built environment into compositions of rhythm, shadow, outline, and texture, often echoing the visual language of digital space and virtual environments.

Working site specifically, 3TWINS engage each location as a system of surfaces, structures, and light conditions. By sampling the surrounding landscape, its geometries, materials, and color temperatures, they reframe familiar places and shift the viewer’s perception of scale, depth, and spatial atmosphere.

Their work has been presented in Berlin, Leipzig, Amsterdam, and South Korea. In 2019, Pinzle Contemporary Art Magazine dedicated a full issue to their practice. Based between Lisbon and Moscow, they continue to develop projects across different urban contexts while maintaining an architectural approach to contemporary mural work.
