Mariana Ralo’s Atelier is a contemporary tapestry studio based in Lisbon, Portugal.

With an engineering background, Mariana combines precision with artistic creativity in a
unique process through which she designs and weaves each piece.
The Atelier explores ancient weaving techniques to create bespoke handmade works
with a modern touch, applying them to a variety of interior projects to enrich and
complete a space’s storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from the shapes and materials she encounters everywhere, Mariana
creates unique handmade tapestries, using a diverse range of materials to give each
piece a modern twist.
