Bigger Splash, a gallery–concept store exploring the intersection of contemporary design and art, sets the stage to showcase this growing series of objects that reimagine the familiar, combining Apartamento’s creative vision with BD’s nonconformist spirit.
The collection features designs by Romanian artist Serban Ionescu, Spanish ceramicist Xavier Mañosa, French designer and artist Ronan Bouroullec, and Swedish artist Klas Ernflo—friends of Apartamento and BD whose work reflects a shared ethos of experimentation and playful creativity. Ronan’s Trivet Necklace, Serban’s Mutant Hook, Klas’ Wine Stopper ‘Buddy’, and Xavier’s Ceramic Bookstand come together to balance artistic expression with practical utility, challenging conventional perceptions of common functionality and breathing new life into the mundane.
Together, this group captures the vision that has fueled BD Barcelona, with each piece exploring new realms of creativity and elevating the ordinary into the extraordinary.
