João Cabaço, Lisbon 1993, is a collector that focuses mainly on Portuguese design objects.
It all started in December 2021 with the acquisition of a furniture lot from Olaio from the 1960’s.
Since then, the collection has grown into a more than 600 objects archive with all kinds of mediums, from ceramics and porcelains to lighting and furniture, with the predilect object being “the chair”.
To help this project grow, João decided to launch “Stood” in 2022.
Stood is a design gallery that focuses on the dealing of international design icons that “stood” the test of time. The gallery is currently located in Anjos with a move to Campolide happening soon.
